How To Stop Underarm Sweating

We all have the problem of sweating at sometime or another. And I know many of us are thinking “How can I stop underarm sweating.” We as human beings, sweat or as some like to say, perspire, all the time. Whether it is forehead sweat as a result of nervousness, back sweat from working out, or, the most common of all, underarm sweat, which happens during just about any occasion.

Underarm sweat can occur when we work out, when we’re nervous, on a hot day, and for some people it pretty much just happens all the time with no apparent cause. Underarm sweat can be really embarrassing. During presentations it is really embarrassing to be talking in front of a group of people and you have wet underarms. Even worse, realizing at some point during the day you had been sweating and now you are left with stains on your shirt for everyone to see. At this point you are cautious to not wave at anyone for the fear that they will notice.

One of the most common ways to stop underarm sweating is by using deodorant. It is very important that when choosing a deodorant, for the best results, you should take notice to the active ingredients. The deodorant with the highest percentage of active ingredients would be the most effective to use. Also note that the best time to put the deodorant is right after you have showered and dried yourself.

If you are not interested in going to the store and using a deodorant, and you want to try a more “natural approach, ” there are other things you can try. This next method is good for underarm sweat, or even if you have a sweaty foot problem. Still, you will need to take a trip to the store, but instead of heading to the department store, take a trip to the supermarket and get yourself some apple vinegar. For both your armpits and your feet, you will need to wash thoroughly before using the vinegar. Apply a sufficient amount of vinegar to a clean wash cloth to dampen it, then rub your armpit with the vinegar dampened cloth. For your feet, take a basin which you can pour the vinegar into and soak your feet for twenty minutes.

Another, but much more expensive method to stopping underarm sweat is Botox. I’m sure when you think Botox the first thing you are thinking is not injecting your armpit to stop sweat, but it really does work. Botox is actually a chemical injection and when it is injected into the armpits it creates a sort of block. The chemicals stop the glands from receiving the signals which tell them to produce perspiration.

Underarm sweat creates problems for us daily. Nobody likes to be embarrassed, and having a stain in the armpit of your shirt from sweat will surely cause just about anybody some embarrassment. The methods which I have listed above are only a few ways you can stop underarm sweating. You can find many other ways, both medically and naturally to stop underarm sweating.
